Tonight Music Monday presents Zachariah: The Electric Western (1971), a roundabout music-filled adaptation of Herman Hesse's Siddarth, with homoerotic overtones. Besides the interesting appearance of pop music culture icons, this flick boasts a script penned by the Firesign Theatre. The world famous comedy troupe celebrated 40 years of entertainment last year. One of my very favorite bands, The Weird Weeds, performs before the movie! This could only happen in Austin...
